Mid-City Carriages
Makes Your Occasion Special
We strive to preserve and celebrate a tradition of using mule-drawn carriages to explore, tour, and celebrate New Orleans.
Our licensed drivers are the most experienced in the city...and if you're looking for character...well, they have that too.
New Orleans is known as the Big Easy for a reason- we don't rush, we don't worry. Neither should you. We know you are here to relax and have fun, and we pride ourselves on being available to you without getting bogged down in reservations and apps.
Are you interested in an affordable carriage tour?
Just come on down to Jackson Square in the heart of the French Quarter and look for the green carriages--we're impossible to miss.
No reservations needed.
But if it makes you feel better, we are happy to arrange it.
Please, take a look around our website to learn more about Mid-City Carriages. As a New Orleans cultural institution, we offer a wide range of transportation and tourism services- from conventions to secondlines, from weddings to jazz funerals.

HAPPY MULES = HAPPY PEOPLE
We had the pleasure of riding with David and Notch in a 6 seater carriage, it was $20 a person and worth every penny. The took is around to the quieter areas with great views and told of history I hadn't heard from any other tour I have been on since arriving. Worth every penny!
